Privacy policy

Account basics (name, email, ZIP), listings and messages you create, and how you use the product. Sellers add identity documents and payout details. Buyers' payment details go to the escrow provider. That's the inventory; we don't buy data about you from anyone.

ID photos go directly to our verification provider over an encrypted connection. Everybarn stores the result (verified or not, and the name matched), never the document. Buyers and sellers never see each other's documents, and neither does our staff.

Your listing content, program or first name, city-level location, and placement history. Signed-in buyers can view the Papers documents you upload to a listing, with phone numbers and email addresses on them blurred automatically. Never your street address, contact details, or payment information. Exact locations are shared only when you choose to share them in a thread.

Card and bank details go to our payment processor or the licensed escrow provider and never touch Everybarn's servers. We store the sale record: price, date, listing, and status, which powers Fair Value data in aggregate.

Sell or rent your data. Show your identity documents to other users. Use your messages for advertising. Contact you first to ask for payment or account details, which is how you can spot an impersonator.

A session cookie to keep you signed in, and first-party analytics to see which features are used. No third-party ad trackers, no cross-site anything.

Download your data, correct it, or delete your account from settings. Deleting removes your personal data within 30 days. Messages you sent stay in the other person's conversation, signed "Former member", and anonymized sale records stay in the market index, since removing them would corrupt Fair Value data others rely on.
